REBECCA
Today I've done my reader exam. the book I've Choosen is Rebecca by the British author Daphne du Maurier.
The main character is a young woman that works as the companion of a rich American woman. during their trip to the French Rivera she becomes involved with a wealthy and rich English man, Maxim de Winter. When she is going to left the place she agrees to marry him, and after the marriage, she goes with him to his mansion, Manderley.
Maxim's first wife died more or less one year ago, so, she arrives at Manderley as the new Ms de Winter. After a few days she realizes how difficult will be to compete with the memory of her husband's first wife, Rebecca. Rebecca died in a sailing accident in the coast next to the mansion, but her memory is really strong and everyone compares the new bride with her, specially the housekeeper, Mrs. Danvers, who had a specially devote to Rebecca.
During the novel, the new Ms de Winter has to fight against Rebecca's phantom amd the hate of the housekeeper. Our young woman discovers a lot of things about Rebecca and finally all is at the revers that it seemed.
I saw the film some years ago and tonight I will try to watch it again if my mom has it. I really recomend you to read the novel or watch the film; both are fantastic.
This is a really good novel of mistery that Alfred Hitchcock adapted to cinema.

SAILING
Well, I've just come back from Torrevieja, where the Spanish Cup of my dinghy took place and I must say that I'm quite happy. My result was not so good but I'm classifiyed for the Youth European Championship and it was my main goal to achieve this year. The European Championship will be celebrated in Denia, near València, I've been sailing there two times and it is Ok. Jaja, for me is a shame that the chamionship is there because I would like to go to another place, like last year when we went to Italy..but well...the good point of this is that my birthay would be in the same dates than the regata and in Denia it's perfect to go out in summer.
So, here you have a picture that Torrevieja's coach took one day thet we were training there.

EASTER HOLIDAYS
Hi people, today is Friday and we are just going to start Easter holidays!!!
The shame is that in half an hour more or less I have a really difficult exam on economy...this year I really don't like this subject so much, last year was more interesting...
My plans for this holidays are: SAIL & GO OUT :)
Tomorrow I left home at 8 o'clock in the morning to go to Barcelona for three days to train. I will be sainling with some other people in the Forum.
We will train Saturday, Sunday and Monday. At night I will go at Julia's home to sleep, in Cerdanyola. Julia i one of my best mates and I'm really happy that I'm going to sleep with her.
Tuesday will be my day for homework and all this stuff...and in the afternoon I will prepare my bags for Torrevieja.
Wednesday morning, very early, I will go to Barcelona with my dad and then he will left me in the Forum, where the Federació Catalana de Vela is and then, a long travel to Torrevieja will start. I'm going to Torrevieja because there is an important championship there, I'll be there sailing for the rest of the week.
For me this chamionship is very important because my place on the Youth European Chamionship depends on my results there..for the moment I'm classifayed, but this is the last step to get in.
so, HAPPY EASTER !!

ANGUS, THONGS AND PERFECT SNOGGING
HI!!! This weekend I've seen a film that I've really enjoyed : Angus, thongs and perfect snogging.
Kate, an english friend of mind lend me this filom because it is not in Spain. It is a really funny british commedy.
The main carachter of the film, Georgia, is going to be 15 and explains us her adventures and her knowledge about boys. Se falls in love with Robbie, a new guy at her school and she and her friends call him "georgeus sex-god" because is really handsome.
This film is like The diary of Bridget Jones for children.
During the film we can see the evolution of the girl's carachters and the different love stories in the fil mith all the good moments and all the troubles they have to fight with.
I really recommend this film because it's so funny and nice, moreover, you can hear british english and it's really beautiful. I loved the pronunctiation of the actors and their vocabulary.
haha, an expression that I learned is : but my hear goes fizzy!!!
It is part of a scene that makes me laugh a lot and it's an expression that girls use a lot when we have to do something bad for our hear.
So, if you have the oportunity to watch this film, do it :)

SARAH - Scottland
Hi, as you know today the Scottish girl who came four years ago to do practices of teaching and to learn spanish has come to talk a little bit with us.
Her presentation has been really interesting, she has talked about the UK and Scottland and about her experiences during this years learning languages and living in Spain.
To do something like live more than one year out of your country to study languages you must love to learn languages and also to travel, which is one of Sarah's main hobbies.
Other hobbies she has are: skiing, play and watch football, go to the beach...
She's been here, in Spain, for more than three years so, for her, the weather of her own country is hard. There they only have two weeks of summer and the normaly weather is cold and raining.
She comes from Scottland, which is one of the four countries that are from the UK.
As she said we know that the UK is formed by: England (London), Scottland(Edimburgh), Wales (Candiff)and Northen Ireland (Belfast).
She explained us some things about her country. For example, she told us the name of some famous scottish people such as Sean COnery, Alex Ferguson, Andy Murray,...
In Scottland people speak two languages: English and Gaelic, which is a diying language.
The most typical food from there is named Haggis.
She also explained us what he did during the last three years and how she is enjoying Spain.
Well, to finish I would like to say that I enjoyed her presentation and also her English.

STARTING OUR LAST TERM OF BATXILLERAT
I was watching some pictures and I've just found this one of the last year.
Selectivitat is near and we have to start preparing it... This year would be a year of changes and new experiences for us and watching this picture I can remember lots of times and things we've done together, all the hours we've been at class listening, and of course laughing and talking.
It will be strange to go at class without all this friends and to start a "new life" in the university.
Next year I would like to study INEFC, I'hope (please god) I'll pass the physical exam they do to accept you or not in this degree... well, I'm preparing it so...we'll see. If I cannot pass this phisical exam I don't know what can I study... because I cannot so phisioterapy doing the "social" BTX...
I'm sure that I will enjoy whatever I finally choose.
Tomorrow I have an exam so...BYE!!
