LONDON '09

Well, here you have a picture of our fantastic trip to London!!
I really enjoyed the city, it's so big, so beautiful, elegant, with lots of different people...
We visied a lot of nice places such as the Globe theatre, The National Gallery, The British Museum, we saw the change of the gurad in the Buckingham palace (only some of us), we saw the fantastic Big Ben,...
Also, we went to a musical, I saw The Phantom of the Opera with elisenda because the others went to another musical. I really enjoyed the music and the scenography, it was amazing, and also, the first time that I was going to watch a musical.

London is a really big city and it is so multicultural, there is a lot of different people from different places all over the world living and working there.

I must say that the food is not as good as here, but for four days it was okay: hot dogs, fish and chips, a lot of strange fast food...
It's strange for us because most people eat on the street while walking and doing other things, it's really different than here.

Well, if you have the oportunity to go to London, do it, because it's a fantastic city.

Research Project

Thaanks Good, at last it has finisheed!!!!!!
Yesterday we did the oral presentations of our research projects.
It's been a hard work but I'm really happy with the result, well, I even don't know my mark but I hope it will be good.
..now we don't have to think more about it and we don't have to get stressed for problems like: ...I won't have time to finish...I don't have enough information....how can I do the conclusions?...and the introductioon?....
That's it, we have finished.

I did my project about the presence of English on TV advertising and I'm really happy with my work because think that I've improved my English.

In the oral presentation I was a bit nervous but when I winished I tought : At least!!!

MY CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS

HAPPY NEW YEAR PEOPLE!!!

This is my firs post of the year so I'll explain you my Christmas Holidays, they've been fantastic!!

The firs three days I went to Madrid with my parents and my brother, we had a great time there. We left Barcelona by train and i to ours we were in Madrid!
I enjoyed the city so much, it is so big and elegant. The streets were plenty of people, restaurants, museums, monuments...

When we came back from Madrid I spend some days with my family in Palamós doing the typical dinners and spending time with them.

New year eve was also good; I ate with my family and then went out with friends in St pere.

But, the best of this hollidays was the regata I did in Blanes. I spend four days with a friend in a hotel in lloret and we were all the day sailing, the regatas started at half past nine of the mortning!!! It was a little bit cold but it was Okay.

The last days of the hollidays were also so good: the day of thñe three wise men and my brother's birthay.

Christmas is coming !!!!

One week more and....Christmas hollidays!!!

After this hard first term we need a small period of hollidays to spend with our families and friends.

Christmas hollidays are a really good time to have fun and make happy our relatives and friends. Christmas is time to love, sing and be more kind than ever.

What I love the most of Christmas are the faces of the children when they see the lights of the street, all the presents and when they sing carolls whith their high-pitched voices.

Another thing that I really like is the frenetic and compulsive shopping :P
(YES, WE LIVE IN A REALLY CONSUMER SOCIETY).I love to buy presents for my cousins, my parents and my brother, but this year I have a problem, a big problem: I don't have so much money. I know that it's not really a problem because if I write a nice letter or I make a manufactured present they will enjoy it. But the problem is that I don't have money because this weekend someone stole me in the changing room of a Club Nautic...I became really angry!!

This Christmas hollidays will be fantastic because I will spend a lot of days sailing in Blanes and the other days with my family and friends.

Well, now I must go because tomorrow I have the last exam of this year!!

SECOND TERM !!!

HI!!
We've just start the second term, but only in some subjects because we still having exams of castella and maths.

So, this is my first entry of this new term.
For me this will be the longest term of my life because we have the research work on february, we must start to think seriusly about the career we want to study,...
During the week is easy to work and think about the exams and all...but the weekends are hard because I'm sailing more than ever and I don't have much time to study or to work on the research project, wut well, for the moment it's all right.

Now I'm nervous to know all the marks of the first term, I only know my mark on philosopy and I must say that I'm really happy with it!!

I hope I will have good luck on the second term (well, I must study, of course not all is luck)

Perfume: The Story of a Murderer

I saw this film two years ago and I really would like to see it again.
This film impressed me so much, so I decided to read the book, I'ts a really nice story but also a bit desagreeable for the way that they represent the smells. Only watching the film you can imagine all the smells that the main carachter can feel.

The film tells the story of a misanthropic, olfactory genius, Jean-Baptiste Grenouille and his homicidal quest for the perfect scent.
Grenouille was abandoned for his mother at the moment of his birth in a market of Paris and he is alone in the world.
the film starts with his sentence for being a murder and expalins us all his live in flashback.

I think taht it's a great film to see.
