THE LAST EXAMS!!!!

fuuf....I must say that I'm a little bit tired because of the exams and the hard work of this weeks...But we must study hard because in two weeks the summer hollidays will start!!!

Next week we have an exam each day..... : S I'm a bit stressed and worried!!

Denia

Hi people!!!




As you know I do sailing competition. Tomorrow I go to Denia, near Valencia, to do a champions ship. If I do it well maybe I go to Italy this summer to the Youth European Champions Ship.

I'm a little bit nervous...I hope that the wind will be not so strong. For me is more difficult to sail when there's a lot of wind because of my weight.

In Denia I will spend the day sailing and then , with my friends. We are in the same hotel and when we have competitions we are allways together. I use to go with Mar, Alba, Julia...and some other girls. I'm glad to go there with them.

My favourite actor

Hello!!!

Yesterday I watched a film that I really like: The perfect murder.
One of the main chacacters is my favourite actor, Viggo Mortensen. I really love his films....and of course I think that he is quite handsome.
I must say that I love this actor in the film of "The Lord of the Rings". His paper in the film is fanatstic.
Other films that he has starred are: Hidalgo, Alatriste,a Histori of Violence,...

Mortensen is also an author, with various books of poetry, photography and painting published.

One of my favourite films

Kate & Leopold

Kate & Leopold is a beautiful love story about a woman who lives in 2001 and a duke of the 1876. The film is a romantic comedy, I think it’s so funny.
The story happens in New York. Kate McKay is a modern executive, a young woman of the 21st century. She works a lot and her aspirations are high. Leopold is the Duke of Albany, he hasn’t wife but his uncle wanted marry him with a rich woman.
When they know each other better, they fell in love , but they have some arguments about the integrity of the people.
Finally Kate was promoted, but when she know that Leopold was in the 19th century she immediately runed to the Brooklyn Bridge and she stayed there with Leopold. They get married and Leopold was the inventor of the elevator.
The lovers can be together because Stuart and Charlie, the young brother of Kate, help them. They are two important characters in the film because Kate and Leopold met each other because of Stuart. And Charlie helped Leopold est Kate.

AN IRISH RECIPE!!!

Hello friends!!!
Today I'd like to tell you a recipe that I learned in Ireland: POTATO SOUP.
It is not my favourite food but it is ok. I'm gonna explain you how to cook it for six people.

You need:
- 6 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 1/2 lires / 3pt / 7 1/2 cups vegetable stock
- knob of butter
- salt and pepper
- fresh, choped parsley

Cook the potatoes and onions slowly in the melted butter for about 10 minutes.
Add the stock and seasoning to taste.
Simmer for about 30 minutes.
Sieve and retourn to the saucepan.
Serve piping hot, sprinkled with chopped parsley.
