ANGUS, THONGS AND PERFECT SNOGGING

HI!!! This weekend I've seen a film that I've really enjoyed : Angus, thongs and perfect snogging.
Kate, an english friend of mind lend me this filom because it is not in Spain. It is a really funny british commedy.
The main carachter of the film, Georgia, is going to be 15 and explains us her adventures and her knowledge about boys. Se falls in love with Robbie, a new guy at her school and she and her friends call him "georgeus sex-god" because is really handsome.
This film is like The diary of Bridget Jones for children.
During the film we can see the evolution of the girl's carachters and the different love stories in the fil mith all the good moments and all the troubles they have to fight with.

I really recommend this film because it's so funny and nice, moreover, you can hear british english and it's really beautiful. I loved the pronunctiation of the actors and their vocabulary.
haha, an expression that I learned is : but my hear goes fizzy!!!
It is part of a scene that makes me laugh a lot and it's an expression that girls use a lot when we have to do something bad for our hear.

So, if you have the oportunity to watch this film, do it :)

SARAH - Scottland

Hi, as you know today the Scottish girl who came four years ago to do practices of teaching and to learn spanish has come to talk a little bit with us.
Her presentation has been really interesting, she has talked about the UK and Scottland and about her experiences during this years learning languages and living in Spain.

To do something like live more than one year out of your country to study languages you must love to learn languages and also to travel, which is one of Sarah's main hobbies.
Other hobbies she has are: skiing, play and watch football, go to the beach...
She's been here, in Spain, for more than three years so, for her, the weather of her own country is hard. There they only have two weeks of summer and the normaly weather is cold and raining.

She comes from Scottland, which is one of the four countries that are from the UK.
As she said we know that the UK is formed by: England (London), Scottland(Edimburgh), Wales (Candiff)and Northen Ireland (Belfast).

She explained us some things about her country. For example, she told us the name of some famous scottish people such as Sean COnery, Alex Ferguson, Andy Murray,...
In Scottland people speak two languages: English and Gaelic, which is a diying language.
The most typical food from there is named Haggis.

She also explained us what he did during the last three years and how she is enjoying Spain.

Well, to finish I would like to say that I enjoyed her presentation and also her English.

STARTING OUR LAST TERM OF BATXILLERAT

I was watching some pictures and I've just found this one of the last year.
Selectivitat is near and we have to start preparing it... This year would be a year of changes and new experiences for us and watching this picture I can remember lots of times and things we've done together, all the hours we've been at class listening, and of course laughing and talking.
It will be strange to go at class without all this friends and to start a "new life" in the university.

Next year I would like to study INEFC, I'hope (please god) I'll pass the physical exam they do to accept you or not in this degree... well, I'm preparing it so...we'll see. If I cannot pass this phisical exam I don't know what can I study... because I cannot so phisioterapy doing the "social" BTX...
I'm sure that I will enjoy whatever I finally choose.

Tomorrow I have an exam so...BYE!!

LONDON '09

Well, here you have a picture of our fantastic trip to London!!
I really enjoyed the city, it's so big, so beautiful, elegant, with lots of different people...
We visied a lot of nice places such as the Globe theatre, The National Gallery, The British Museum, we saw the change of the gurad in the Buckingham palace (only some of us), we saw the fantastic Big Ben,...
Also, we went to a musical, I saw The Phantom of the Opera with elisenda because the others went to another musical. I really enjoyed the music and the scenography, it was amazing, and also, the first time that I was going to watch a musical.

London is a really big city and it is so multicultural, there is a lot of different people from different places all over the world living and working there.

I must say that the food is not as good as here, but for four days it was okay: hot dogs, fish and chips, a lot of strange fast food...
It's strange for us because most people eat on the street while walking and doing other things, it's really different than here.

Well, if you have the oportunity to go to London, do it, because it's a fantastic city.
