Christmas is coming !!!!

One week more and....Christmas hollidays!!!

After this hard first term we need a small period of hollidays to spend with our families and friends.

Christmas hollidays are a really good time to have fun and make happy our relatives and friends. Christmas is time to love, sing and be more kind than ever.

What I love the most of Christmas are the faces of the children when they see the lights of the street, all the presents and when they sing carolls whith their high-pitched voices.

Another thing that I really like is the frenetic and compulsive shopping :P
(YES, WE LIVE IN A REALLY CONSUMER SOCIETY).I love to buy presents for my cousins, my parents and my brother, but this year I have a problem, a big problem: I don't have so much money. I know that it's not really a problem because if I write a nice letter or I make a manufactured present they will enjoy it. But the problem is that I don't have money because this weekend someone stole me in the changing room of a Club Nautic...I became really angry!!

This Christmas hollidays will be fantastic because I will spend a lot of days sailing in Blanes and the other days with my family and friends.

Well, now I must go because tomorrow I have the last exam of this year!!

SECOND TERM !!!

HI!!
We've just start the second term, but only in some subjects because we still having exams of castella and maths.

So, this is my first entry of this new term.
For me this will be the longest term of my life because we have the research work on february, we must start to think seriusly about the career we want to study,...
During the week is easy to work and think about the exams and all...but the weekends are hard because I'm sailing more than ever and I don't have much time to study or to work on the research project, wut well, for the moment it's all right.

Now I'm nervous to know all the marks of the first term, I only know my mark on philosopy and I must say that I'm really happy with it!!

I hope I will have good luck on the second term (well, I must study, of course not all is luck)

Perfume: The Story of a Murderer

I saw this film two years ago and I really would like to see it again.
This film impressed me so much, so I decided to read the book, I'ts a really nice story but also a bit desagreeable for the way that they represent the smells. Only watching the film you can imagine all the smells that the main carachter can feel.

The film tells the story of a misanthropic, olfactory genius, Jean-Baptiste Grenouille and his homicidal quest for the perfect scent.
Grenouille was abandoned for his mother at the moment of his birth in a market of Paris and he is alone in the world.
the film starts with his sentence for being a murder and expalins us all his live in flashback.

I think taht it's a great film to see.

PRIDE & PREJUDICE

HI!!!

Yesterday I finished to read Pride & Prejudice and I must say that I've enjoyed the reading. It's a really romantic and beautiful story, as Keira say in the video of politics of dating, is a fairy tale.
I really want to see the film because I think that it will be really nice and we can learn some vocabulary watching it.

The book represents in a good way how people talked in 19th century and theyr costumes and behaviurs. I'ts really interesting how the characters act in front of some people and how we can see the politics of the moment.

I think that in my oral presentation I will talk about some topic related to Pride and Prejudice.

A WEEKEND WITH MAR AND JULIA

I've spend this last weekend with two of my best friends: Mar and Julia.
Mar is the one with blond hair and blue eyes. I really love her, she is so sweet and she is allways happy. Mar is from Badalona and she is 18, this is her first year studing medicine and for the moment she is very happy with it.
Julia is the other girl (¬¬' with my sun glasses). Julia is a really funny girl, she is just 16 but she is so mature, she is from Cerdanyola.

We've spent a lot of great times together.
The last weekend, for example we went all the day in a boat and at night we went out in Sabadell.

I really love them : )

THE RESEARCH WORK

fuuf.....the research work....

It's tired to think that you have a work and you can not do it quikly because you have homework, exams, some obligations you can not evade...

I do my research porject about "English influence on advertising". It's hard because I have to translate the text to english, but I'm learning a lot and the topic is interesting ( well, that's what I think).

Now I have a lot of work because during the summer I couldn't do so many thinks. I spend all the summer sailing and working in Palamos. More over I had to do the practices of the title of sailing instructor and it took me a lot of time.

ITALY: COMMO LAKE

HI!!!!

Today I'm gonna explain you one of my best experiences of this summer.

I went to the Youth European Campion ship of the europe class. We went to Italy, in the Commo Lake.

The place was fantastic, a big lake in the middle of green mountains and nice villages near there. the sailing club was really nice, you have a photo here.

The cometition was good, it could be better but, I was happy with the results.

The best was that my best friends were there too: Julia, Mar and Alba.

We had a great time together and with the other people of the spanish team.

And...you know who was looking the competition in his boat? !!GEORGE CLOONEY!!

But sadly I didn't saw him...

So, I recomend you to visit Commo, it's really nice.

LET'S START 2n BTX

Hello!!

Summer has finished..and now: SCHOOL again.

So it means: study, homework, blogs, portfolio, read books, classes at 8:00 on the morning...

This will be our last year in IES Castelló like students and depending on this year we will have or not the oportunity to study what we want...we must work hard!!!

Next year I would like to study INEFC in Barcelona. I think that the required mark for this year is 7.15, last year was 6,2. I will fight for my place in thhat university because the other options that I've think about....INEFC is the only one that for the moment I really enjoy.


For me this summer has been fantastic: working in Palamos, sailing, party, traveling...I hope that you have enjoyed your summer too.

I've done some resolutions for 2nd BTX:

- I'm going improve my marks.
- I'm going to study even at the weekends , including those in wich I have competition.
- I'm going to work hard with the research work.
- ¡¡Pay attention at class!!
- ...

And...I'm gonna find the best way to combine studies with fun.

Helloo!!! well, today I'm really happy because in two days the schol will finish until next year.

Denia

Hi people!!!




As you know I do sailing competition. Tomorrow I go to Denia, near Valencia, to do a champions ship. If I do it well maybe I go to Italy this summer to the Youth European Champions Ship.

I'm a little bit nervous...I hope that the wind will be not so strong. For me is more difficult to sail when there's a lot of wind because of my weight.

In Denia I will spend the day sailing and then , with my friends. We are in the same hotel and when we have competitions we are allways together. I use to go with Mar, Alba, Julia...and some other girls. I'm glad to go there with them.

My favourite actor

Hello!!!

Yesterday I watched a film that I really like: The perfect murder.
One of the main chacacters is my favourite actor, Viggo Mortensen. I really love his films....and of course I think that he is quite handsome.
I must say that I love this actor in the film of "The Lord of the Rings". His paper in the film is fanatstic.
Other films that he has starred are: Hidalgo, Alatriste,a Histori of Violence,...

Mortensen is also an author, with various books of poetry, photography and painting published.

One of my favourite films

Kate & Leopold

Kate & Leopold is a beautiful love story about a woman who lives in 2001 and a duke of the 1876. The film is a romantic comedy, I think it’s so funny.
The story happens in New York. Kate McKay is a modern executive, a young woman of the 21st century. She works a lot and her aspirations are high. Leopold is the Duke of Albany, he hasn’t wife but his uncle wanted marry him with a rich woman.
When they know each other better, they fell in love , but they have some arguments about the integrity of the people.
Finally Kate was promoted, but when she know that Leopold was in the 19th century she immediately runed to the Brooklyn Bridge and she stayed there with Leopold. They get married and Leopold was the inventor of the elevator.
The lovers can be together because Stuart and Charlie, the young brother of Kate, help them. They are two important characters in the film because Kate and Leopold met each other because of Stuart. And Charlie helped Leopold est Kate.

AN IRISH RECIPE!!!

Hello friends!!!
Today I'd like to tell you a recipe that I learned in Ireland: POTATO SOUP.
It is not my favourite food but it is ok. I'm gonna explain you how to cook it for six people.

You need:
- 6 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 1/2 lires / 3pt / 7 1/2 cups vegetable stock
- knob of butter
- salt and pepper
- fresh, choped parsley

Cook the potatoes and onions slowly in the melted butter for about 10 minutes.
Add the stock and seasoning to taste.
Simmer for about 30 minutes.
Sieve and retourn to the saucepan.
Serve piping hot, sprinkled with chopped parsley.

My little cousin

HI PEOPLE!!!!

I really love this picture!!
You can see my "little" cousin Isabel and me.Isabel is three years younger than me, but as you can se she is taller than me :), I really love her, she's too swetty.
In this picture we were in Ireland waiting for a bus that was late. We spended a fantastic week in Galway, a small citty from the West Ireland.

I really recomend you to go to Ireland, in my opinion is really, really nice. I've been there two times with my cousin: one week in a irish home. We stayed with a family. It was so funny, they had three children: Shauna, the old sister who was 11, Harry, who was 7, and Dominic the little brother.
It's a really good experience to be in a house with people who treat you like one of theyr family and help you to learn theyr language, I'd like to repeat it again.

So...if you can try it, it's a really good experience!!

MISS BIMBO

This year a new game online has been created: Miss Bimbo.
Miss Bimbo is a "game" for girls who are between 9 and 16 years old. The game consists on be like a "supermodel", a perfect woman, but...what's the concept of be perfect in this game?
The virtual character of each girl is supposed to be too thin, have stetic operations like put more chest...etc. And when the character have a "perfect" apparence, the girl must search for a multimillionary man..... I don't think that it is a game...do you think so?

Parents' groups have criticised this new game in which theyr young daughters give virtual characters plastic surgery and feed them diet pills.

...we must stop this type of "games" and publicity to be anorexic and have plastic surgery...

FIRST POST OF THE LAST TERM!!!!

Hi!!!! Well, finally, we start the last term!!!
Im really happy because we have just start spring and summer is comming.
Summer is my favourite season of the year because it's hot, there's no class at school, all the day in bikini.....parties, sun.....

But of course I'm not going to spend all the summer doing...nothing.
I'm going to work for two weeks in the Palamós sailing school and then , the rest of the summer, in the sailing school of my parents in St.Pere.

In 45 days we will finish our classes!!! fuuf, only two months more working an tnen summer!!!

Hi people!!!!

Now I'm in Palmós with my cousin and my brother. My parents had a dinner, so I'm staying here all the day.
Tomorrow all the 1st B will go out together. I think that it will be really funny and we will enjoy the night so much. First, we'll go to a chinese restaurant and after to fata.

Well, now we have a hold week without school, but I have a lot of things to do. I must do a course in Palamós to get a titel for sailing teaher. Then, from the 19th to the 22nd I have a spanish champions ship in Llançà, I hope I will do it so good.

...And...the two last days of the hollidays I will stay at St Pere...

FANTASTIC DAY IN PERPINYA

HELLO!!!
In this picture you can see some people of my class. We spend a fantastic day in Perpinya. I must say that it's a nice class with fantastic people, we are like a family.
We went there the last Twesday and we visited a really big high school. The photo was taken in a park in front of the school, we spend a really good time jumping and playing like little children.

Luckly this is our last week of exams of this second term.
At the moment I'm really happy with the marks that I know, they are not so high , but better than the ones from the firs term.
I'm tired of studing every evening...4 days and: one week of relax!!!!

Easter is coming and we've just start '08 spring!!....all of us waiting for the summer...., isnt'it? :)

Well, today I've put this photo because ...because I like it. My cousin Laura took it the last summer one they that we were walking. I really remember that day because he arrived from Bcn and we passed a lot of funny moments together.
Laura comes every summer to my home and she spends ..maybe one month, or more, with me. This summer she wouldn'be as many time than the last year with me but I hope that she will come more than one week!!

HUMAN TRAFFIC

Today I'd like to talk about one of my favourite films, Human Traffic.
this film is based on real facts. It's about an investigation into traffic of people, mainly females, for prostitution.
Of course it's not a fun film, but it shows you the sad reality of those people who are tricked or forced into selling their bodies.
the film shows you various stories: the investigation by the police, the live of some prostitutes, the families who lost their children, the people who organise this dreadful "business",...

I recomend that you see this film and maybe you will realise how lucky you are.

JULIA & ME

HELLOO!!!

Now I'm at school in the language room. I'm next to Miriam and we both are doing blog entrys, we are so tired!!!

the girl in the photo is Julia, she is another friend who does competition with me. .....I don't know what can I write...so...I will talk a little bit about Julia.
She is 15 and she is one of my best friend. I met her 9 years ago, when we started to do competitions. We first met each other because we were at the same hotel. I spend a lot of time talking on the phone with her...we can talk during a lot of hours, one day I fell asleep with the phone in my hands.....jajaja she is really funny...

In Denia with Mar and Alba!!

This weekend I've been sailing with them and Julia in Masnou, next to Barcelona.
This year I'm taking the things that I do more seriously than the last year.
On the first hand this year I'd like to do the Youth European Championship, and at the moment I'm on it. It will take place in Italy, in "lago di Commo".

on the other hand this term I'm studing more, having a lot of fun, less arguments with my mum, I'm more with my little brother...

LET'S START A NEW YEAR

Hi!!!!!
This is my first post of the second term and the first post of the year.
we've just started a new year, and I think that it will be a really good period in our lives, I don't know why, maybe because I like the number 2008 :)

The shame was that the holidays were really short, but so good.
I've been sailing in Blanes for 8 days with my friends. I enjoyed those days a lot because we were alone in a apartament and doing things that we like to do together and sailing during the day. I must say that it was a little bit hard because of the cold days....:S If you like to do something you have to do it, you mustn't be lazy!!

I spent the other days with my family, friends... one of the things that I enjoyed so much was the day of " The 3 kings" becouse my brother turned 11 and he was really happy. I love the faces of children at Christmas!
